yet ANOTHER doctor

After the seizure last eek, the ER doctor at kennestone recommended that I see a neurologist. since I didn't have one ( dr Barnette is a neuro surgeon), Holley got me an appointment with her neurologist, and I saw him yesterday. doc is really nice and I felt comfortable with him right away. his nurse took my vitals and drew some blood, then we talked about my "episode". He told us that there is new research indicating that right brain strokes like mine can often lead to seizure activity. he wrote me a prescription for "kepra", an anti-seizure med, and said he was going to consult with my psychiatrist about lowering the dosages of anti-depressants I take. he also set me up to take an EEG test on Thursday the 13th.
