whooeeeee, BiBimBob is it!!!!!

me and Bubba just got home from having lunch at tofu village, the local Korean BBQ restaurant.I chowed out on my favorite Korean dish, BiBimBop, which is basically a big bowl of steamed white rice and salad* with a fried egg on top. Bubba got his usual, bulgoki, marinated strips of flank steak over rice. * the salad contains lettuce, mushrooms, seaweed, cucumber, turnip threads, beef and marinated dandelion. You cut the egg up and mix the entire salad together before eating it. like meals at any Korean restaurant, ours came with a huge selection of "pan-chan", small dishes of pickles and other yummies, like kimchee, bean sprouts, fried tofu and green beans. I judge Korean restaurants on the variety and quality of their pan-chan. tofu village doesn't compare favorably with the big places over on the "Korea-town" section of Buford highway, but for a little bitty place tucke away in northeast Cobb county, they do alright.Bubba's outside mowing the grass and I've got a full belly, so I'm gonna go take a nap now.
