the FINAL dental adventure, thank God...
Yesterday @ 1030 AM, I went to the dentist to have the permanent crown installed on my bottom R canine ("eye tooth"). Dr Delaney didn't even need to numb me up because all he did was put a dab of cement inside the crown and seat it on the stump where the temp had been.he ground just a tiny bit off the outer surface of the crown so it doesn't sit up too high. completely painless. I go back next month to see the hygenist for a clean and polish. even though we took my camera, Kimball was in his "efficiency expert" time management mode and went off shopping while I was in the chair, so no gross pictures to post this time out.I swear, I've had so many surgical procedures in the last few years but have never managed to get any decent pics of the bloody aftermath.Kimball had some of my foot in the surgeons* office. when they took the temp cast off, but he could never figure out how to get them off his phone. that's a shame, because the nurse who cleaned it up before she put on the hard cast was really cute and I took a shot of her with my mangled/bloody foot cradled in her lap, and another one looking down her scrub shirt. (she was sitting on a little step stool while I was up on an examining table.- if u live in metro Atlanta, you may have heard a radio ad for Resurgens orthopedics. Dr Scott is with resurgens at their north Fulton hospital location.
